(1) Free UK delivery

The free UK “Standard Delivery” on all products on our website applies in most circumstances, but there are exceptions – please read the following information fully:

Most products offered fall into three categories:

(i) Small packets under 1.5kg AND under 1.2m
(ii) Standard items under 30kg
(iii) Oversize items over 1.8m or 30kg VOLUMETRIC weight

Small packets are normally sent by Royal Mail 1st class recorded and qualify for free delivery to ANY UK postcode (including Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland & Islands (excluding Channel Islands)

Standard and Oversize items are normally sent with couriers such as City Link, Yodel, DHL, TNT, Pallet agencies etc. These couriers impose a surcharge on our contracted rates for some outlying areas including Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland & offshore UK islands (such as Isle of Man, Isle of Wight etc).

As a guide, delivery charges often apply to standard items going to some Scottish postcodes such as AB, KW, IV amongst others, along with all BT postcodes and all islands. Oversize items have more constraints and delivery charges will often also apply to some London & Cornwall areas as well as those above.

If you are ordering a product for delivery and are unsure whether a delivery charge may apply based on the above guidelines, please contact us for advice before completing the order.

If you are ordering a product for delivery to any of these areas and you complete the order process, including payment, and we subsequently discover your order attracts a delivery surcharge, we will contact you BEFORE dispatch. You will have the option to pay the delivery charge or cancel the order for a full refund.

Delivery charges may typically vary from around £6-£7 to around £10-£15 depending on areas, size, weight etc.

(2) Worldwide shipping

Shipping outside the UK will always carry a charge – we will quote for delivery to most countries worldwide on request – please supply a full delivery address including postcode.

(3) Important notes – Courier delivery

We MUST be provided with a delivery contact number for all non-Royal Mail deliveries & there needs to be someone available to receive and sign for ALL deliveries. If a courier cannot deliver for any reason, either we or the courier may need to contact you to arrange delivery. If a contact number is not provided and the goods are returned to us, you will need to pay for re-delivery.

All goods must be checked for condition in the presence of the carrier before signing to accept delivery. You should refuse to accept delivery if the item(s) are damaged – they will have to be returned at your own expense should you sign for them – it is standard courier practice that, by signing, you accept that they have been received in good order, thereby taking away our right to claim for damage in transit.

Please note that all glass items and body panels (e.g. doors bonnets wings etc.) are sent entirely at the buyers risk – we do our utmost to pack them safely using professional packaging products, but unfortunately no courier will insure them against damage or breakages. We strongly recommend buyers collect these types of goods.
